Scientific research is also carried out at the fertility centre, with the intention of publishing this research in scientific literature (see Publications).

1. HCG triggering versus hCG in combination with GnRH agonist in PCOS patients. A randomized, controlled trial.
   In deze studie evalueren we de nieuwe manier van triggering binnen een groep patiënten met verhoogd risico op het overstimulatiesyndroom (OHSS). Meer info?
   
   
2. Ovarian stimulation in IVF-patients with Corifollitropin Alfa in combination with hp-FSH versus Corifollitropin Alfa with low dose hCG. A prospective, randomized trial.
   De bedoeling van deze studie is om via een nieuwe strategie in ivf-stimulatie de medicamenteuze kosten bij een ivf-behandeling fors te laten dalen. Meer info?
   
   
3. Oxytocin antagonist in patients with repeated failure of implantation. A prospective, randomized, placebo-controlled, double blind study.
   Wij verwachten een voordelig effect van de toediening van oxytocine antagonisten rond de transfer door hun relaxerende effect op de baarmoeder. Dit vooral bij patiënten met herhaald falen van een ivf-cyclus, ondanks goede embryokwaliteit. Meer info?
   
   
4. The efficacy, safety and tolerability of oral dydrogesterone 30mg daily versus intravaginal micronzed Progesterone capsules 600mg daily for luteal support in IVF. A double blind, double dummy, randomized, two-arm, multicenter study.
   In deze studie vergelijkt de firma Quitiles-Abbott twee bestaande progesteronproducten die gebruikt worden ter ondersteuning van de luteale fase in een ivf-cyclus. het ene product wordt oraal ingenomen, het andere vaginaal. Quitiles-Abbott wil graag aantonen dat beide producten minstens evenwaardig zijn, en op die manier het comfort van het orale middel promoten. Meer info?
   
   
5. The efficacy and safety of Pergoveris® (follitropin alfa and lutropin alfa) and Gonal F® (follitropin alfa) for multifollicular development as part of an assisted reproductive technology treatment cycle in poor ovarian responders, as definede by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology criteria (ESPART). A phase III, randomized, controlled, single blind, multicenter, parallel arm trial.
   Deze studie onderzoekt of Pergoveris® een doeltreffend geneesmiddel is voor patiëntes met een lage reactie binnen een normale ivf-procedure. Pergoveris® wordt vergeleken met de als standaard gebruikte stimulatiemedicatie (Gonal F®). Meer info?
