Foreign patients
Belgium is a pioneer of fertility treatments both in Europe and worldwide, particularly in vitro fertilisation. This is why the doors of our fertility centre are open to couples with fertility problems from all over the world. In this way, we can successfully treat patients from every continent, irrespective of their religion, race or personal beliefs. We also aim to provide perfect medical service to all our patients, including those who come from outside Belgium.
Of course there is the fact that foreign patients cannot benefit from the same health insurance cover arrangements as patients with Belgian citizenship. You can find out more specific information about the cost price of fertility treatment in the 'Financial' section. In any case, we ask all our foreign patients for a down payment of € 2,800 when they are admitted for a course of treatment.
At the end of 2015, the fertility centre began a joint venture with the company Betamedics. This collaboration is based on the fact that our team wants to devote 100% of its time and effort to the actual medical treatments, without wanting to neglect the practical arrangements needed by a foreign patient. So if you wish, Betamedics can deal with all the practical arrangements, including for example flights, bureaucracy, transport, overnight stays, making appointments, leisure etc. In short, Betamedics offers an exclusive service and support, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
